Revealing Treasure

Theme Thursday for November 17, 2011 – TREASURE

2011 NOVEMBER PAD CHAPBOOK CHALLENGE: DAY 17

For today’s prompt, write a poem that reveals something. Maybe it’s something physical (like light revealing an intruder or pulling back a sheet to reveal a new car). Or maybe it’s something psychological, emotional, or spiritual. Today’s the day to reveal.

  1. Hi Blossom,

That is a really cool take on the treasure theme. I really do like coconut and it is truly a treasure that someone found. And sometimes I feel like an nut and sometimes I don’t. I love my Almond Joy’s and Mound’s. Just yummy!!!

Thanks so much for your treasure view on this weeks Theme Thursday. Thanks for playing.

    God bless.

  2. nice…def an intersting take and can be hard to get too at times too, esp if still in all the husk…happy TT

  3. Nice treasure of a haiku. Happy TT. -J

  4. Great haiku! And now I’m craving coconut!

  5. We have so many treasures in our life with which to enjoy … last week I tasted fresh coconut milk for the first time – the coconut had a hole at the top with luscious liquid inside. I’ve had fresh coconut “meat” before, but not the “milk”! Nice nutty flavor and aroma!

  6. love it,

    juicy and fruity treasure here,
    charming words.

  7. mmmmmmmmmm……. now I want some coconut!

Do you really like coconut? or were you just inspired by the picture to write the poem?

Because, to be honest, it’s a bit uncharacteristic! ;-p <3
